Yes.

*Hypocritically punishes Mafdet for icon abuse by confiscating new cat bed on behalf of Other Cat That Does Not Exist*

No, no! This is the bed The Other Cat That Does Not Exist would be getting if, of course, she existed. As Frigg does not exist, according to Mafdet, then Mafdet has nothing to be jealous over if the other cat gets such a bed! Or something like that.

Do all s.f. writers give their cats "generalized" names? You've got Other Cat That Does Not Exist™ and Scalzi's got Lopsided Cat™. Maybe the reason I cannot finish writing a novel is that my cats have very specific names.

I shall give our group generalized names now:
1. Queen Bitch Cat
2. Retarded Cat
3. Clingy Cat That Smells Funny
4. Man-Whore Cat
5. Ghost Cat

I CAN FINSH NOVEL NAOW?

Ah, you misunderstand. It is not [info]autopope who styles me "the other cat who does not exist", but that other cat, who does not exist. In her non-existent brain, it seems she thinks that I do not exist, whereas really, it is she who does not exist.

I can see from the other comments that I am going to have to get the food apes to go back to IKEA and buy me that throne, which is much better than the glorified cushion they bought for the other (non-existent) cat.

I don't think so (and neither does the Furry Tyrant).

New beds are good, but only if they are people new beds. Cat beds are for dust.

Yes, mine are asleep on my bed now. I've been back there twice to pet them and tell them I love them.

Clearly, one cat is a humourist and the other is a novelist. The problem is to figure out which is which.

Alas, you misunderstand: one cat is a neurotic Goth drama queen, and the other is a Friendly Idiot (who sneezes a lot).
